JACKSON, Wyo. — Winter just keeps hanging on.

The National Weather Service (NWS) has issued a winter storm watch affecting the Tetons, Gros Ventres, Absarokas and Yellowstone National Park, in effect from Wednesday evening through late Thursday night.

“Heavy snow possible,” NWS advised. “Total snow accumulations between 9 and 15 inches possible. Winds could gust as high as 55 mph.”

Travel over Teton Pass is expected to be difficult as strong winds cause limited visibility. Keep an eye on road conditions here as the weather evolves. Check the latest forecast here. Remember these tips for driving in winter weather on the Pass.
