JACKSON, Wyo. — Teton County/Jackson Parks and Recreation (Parks & Rec) announced on Tuesday, April 15, that the lap pool will remain closed until further notice.

On April 9, a routine morning inspection identified a mechanical fault, forcing the immediate closure of the pool.

According to Parks & Rec, contractors are scheduled to visit the Recreation Center next week to conduct a professional assessment of the lap pool. Staff will provide the public with an update following their assessment.

Parks and Rec wrote in the announcement that its staff will work with contractors to “find a solution that provides the community with a safe, clean, functional and accessible pool.”
