JACKSON, Wyo. – Authorities are looking for two men suspected of carrying out a string of car burglaries at the Phillips Ridge trailhead on Teton Pass on the morning of Tuesday, July 22.
Teton County Sheriff’s Office investigators are looking into the break-in of vehicles parked at the popular trailhead between 9:30 and 11:30 a.m. on July 22. At least four vehicles sustained damage in the break-in attempts.
Two male suspects used numerous stolen credit cards to purchase items at Target in Idaho Falls—amounting to some $5,500 in fraudulent charges.
Anyone who parked on Teton Pass the morning of July 22 who may have noticed something missing from their car or saw anything suspicious is urged to call the Sheriff’s Office at 307-733-2331.
