JACKSON HOLE, WYO – Wondering what’s going on at R Park? Tractors, gravel, orange tape?
This past May, the Jackson Hole Land Trust (JHLT) was awarded a $1.7 million grant from the LOR Foundation to fund completion of the park as directed by community input and vision. Thanks to this new grant, work is now beginning on the park’s final stages of transformation. Construction is expected to be complete by July 2019. The park will remain open through the transformation process.
“The money’s in the door, and we are starting to build this park out,” JHLT president Laurie Andrews said. “It has been a labor of love both for the LOR Foundation, the Jackson Hole Land Trust and Rendezvous Park.”
