JACKSON HOLE, WYO – Here are some recent calls for service in Teton County/Jackson from the dispatch log. Names may be withheld at the request of law enforcement. All persons cited or arrested are presumed innocent until convicted in a court of law. Charges are subject to change following official filing from the Teton County Attorney’s Office.

May 27, 12:51 am – Domestic Violence
Officers were dispatched to a report of domestic violence. An investigation revealed that a female confronted her fiancé about infidelities. During the ensuing argument the female allegedly struck the male several times and keyed his vehicle. As a result of the investigation, a 36-year-old female was charged with unlawful touching.

May 27, 1:12 am –  Destruction of Property
An officer took a report of two vehicles that had been keyed in an apartment complex parking lot. There are no suspects.

May 27, 1:13 am –  Public Intoxication
Officers responded to a disturbance outside a bar in which a male was threatening to assault another male. Officers found the subject to be uncooperative and angry. It was clear the subject was intoxicated and a threat to others in the area. Officers made numerous attempts to convince the subject to take a cab from the area, which he refused. In addition, the subject continually threatened to harm the party he was in a disagreement with. Based on this information officers determined the subject was too intoxicated to care for himself and that he was a danger others. As a result, Douglas Franklin Lincoln, 37, of Teton Village was charged with public intoxication.

May 27, 10:34 pm – Battery
Officers were dispatched to a report of a subject who had been assaulted. The subject was transported to the hospital for medical care. The investigation revealed the subject had been attacked by an acquaintance for unknown reasons. As a result, Josue Garcia-Cervantes, 24, of Jackson was charged with aggravated assault.

May 27, 10:43 pm – Trespass
Officers responded to a local restaurant in reference to a subject refusing to leave. The officers advised the subject to leave and they complied. At the request of the business the subject was issued a criminal trespass notice and advised not to return.

May 28, 2:55 am –  Battery
Officers received a call that a subject had been attacked, allegedly with brass knuckles, in the parking lot of a local business by an acquaintance. An investigation revealed the same subject from the incident previously was the suspect. As a result, Josue Garcia-Cervantes, 24, of Jackson was charged with a second count of aggravated assault.

May 28, 7:49 pm –  Public Injury
An officer documented a case in which a juvenile was injured while bicycling in the Skate Park.

May 29, 5:15 am – Death
A 70-year-old female visitor died from what appears to have been natural causes.

May 29, 10:53 am – Theft
A subject reported a bike that had been left unsecured was stolen from their yard.

May 30, 8:05 pm – Public Intoxication
Officers were dispatched to a report of a subject who was falling down and appeared to be intoxicated in the roadway. Officers located a subject who matched the description and observed that he had extremely impaired balance. When officers contacted the subject they noted he was extremely intoxicated and he was covered in grass stains as if he had fallen. Officers determined the subject was clearly too intoxicated to care for himself and as a result, Justin D Maikoff, 35, of Jackson was charged with public intoxication.

May 31, 9:16 am – Fraud
A subject reported she had fallen victim to an online housing rental scam. The subject had communicated with a subject via email and eventually sent $2,250 in untraceable funds to the suspect before it was determined the rental was a fraud.

May 31, 10:42 am – Drug Offense
At the request of a probation agent, drugs and paraphernalia were seized from a residence of a probationer who is in custody on other charges. A report has been forwarded to the prosecutor for review.

May 31, 1:17 pm – Theft
A business reported a set of license plates were stolen off of a vehicle.

May 31, 2:43 pm – Theft of Services
Officers received a report of a subject who ate a meal at a restaurant and left without paying for the meal. The subject, Aaron William Whiteman, 43, of the United Kingdom, is in custody for similar charges and an additional count of defrauding an innkeeper has been added to his charges.

May 31, 2:27 pm – Theft
A subject reported she believes prescription medication was stolen from her purse while at a bar. No other items were reported stolen.
