JACKSON HOLE, WYO – Here are some recent calls for service in Teton County/Jackson from the dispatch log. Names may be withheld at the request of law enforcement. All persons cited or arrested are presumed innocent until convicted in a court of law. Charges are subject to change following official filing from the Teton County Attorney’s Office.

•PROPERTY – FOUND PROPERTY
Comments: A wallet was found at a business and turned into the police department. The owner of the wallet was located and contacted but was out of the country for an extended period of time. The wallet will be held for safekeeping until the owner returns.

•PUBLIC INTOX – PUBLIC INTOXICATION
Comments: A woman was found sitting on the sidewalk near a broken bottle of beer. The woman was intoxicated to a degree she could not provide
her home address. Officers located a case of beer, some bottles broken and some full, near her as well. The woman was arrested for public intoxication and later submitted to a portable breath test with a result of .276%.

•PUBLIC INTOX – PUBLIC INTOXICATION
Comments: Officers observed an individual attempting to make entry into a business that was clearly closed. When officers contacted the individual it was discovered he was highly intoxicated. The subject was arrested for public intoxication.

•TRAFFIC ACCIDENT – TRAFFIC ACCIDENT, VEHICLE DAMAGE
Comments: Two vehicle non-injury collision. One vehicle was backing and in motion and the second vehicle was parked and unoccupied. The driver left the Town of Jackson after exchanging information with the owner of the parked vehicle before police were called. No citations issued.

Comments: A respondent with a protection order against him is violating the order by contacting the petitioner, the petitioner’s family, and the petitioner’s friends.

•SUSPICIOUS – SUSPICIOUS ACTIVITY
Comments: A local apartment manager called to report a suspicious circumstance that involved a stolen door handle. No suspects at this time.

Comments: Subject reported to the Jackson Police Department that he lost $20,000 in a telephone scam. Ongoing investigation at this time.

•TRAFFIC ACCIDENT – HIT/RUN, VEHICLE DAMG
Comments: A local resident reported their vehicle had been damaged in a hit and run collision. Officers investigated and took measurements of the damaged vehicle. No additional information was available concerning a suspect vehicle.

•TRAFFIC ACCIDENT – TRAFFIC ACCIDENT, VEHICLE DAMAGE
Comments: On April 19 a deer running across a road struck a county vehicle causing damage to the passenger side front panel. The deer ran away seemingly unharmed.

Comments: A local doctor called to report a sexual assault on one of her patients. Police have a suspect and an investigation is underway.

Comments: Four boys contacted sitting in a car and smoking marijuana. Cited and released to parents or guardians.

Comments: Officers observed a subject laying on the sidewalk. It appeared the subject had urinated on them self. Upon conducting an investigation the subject was arrested for Public Intoxication with a .268% BrAC .

Comments: Officers were dispatched on a welfare check and determined the subject was not in need of police or medical attention.
