Comments: Town vehicle was working in alley way when they struck a parked vehicle. Minor damage to vehicle, no damage to town vehicle.

Comments: Officers advised of suicidal subject experiencing extreme paranoia. Subject made comments to friend that he would “suicide by cop.” Officers learned subject had Wyoming warrant. Officers made contact with subject and took him into custody. Subject uncooperative with law enforcement.

Comments: Officers were called to a local motel for a disturbance. A woman reported her boyfriend had destroyed some of her property and taken her car keys and dogs. The woman did not want to press charges for property destruction. Officers contacted the boyfriend and ended up citing him for possession of marijuana.

Comments: Subject stumbling along roadway was reported to police department. Officers determine subject is too impaired to care for themselves and is arrested for public intoxication. Portable breath test was .27% BAC.

Comments: Officers responded on a call for service of a welfare check of a disoriented male.Officers located and helped the disoriented male back to his hotel room. The male admitted he had been smoking marijuana and told officers he had marijuana in his hotel room. The male was arrested for possession of marijuana.

Comments: A bus driver located a suspicious balloon on the floor of his bus. He felt a powder-like substance inside but did not open it to inspect it. No passengers were on board at the time of discovery to make a claim for the balloon. Item will be secured for destruction.

Comments: Officers responded on intel that possible illegal drug use was occurring at a local motel. Officers detected the odor of marijuana coming from one of the rooms. Officers made contact with the occupant. The occupant of the room was arrested for possession of marijuana. Officers executed a search warrant on the room and discovered marijuana and a number of items related to the use and production of marijuana related products.

Comments: Local resident reported a collision hit and run. Officers arrived and investigated the scene. The collision was not witnessed and no video camera footage was available. Officers attempted to locate similar damage on nearby vehicles but were unable to find matching damage.

Comments: Male pedestrian slipped on ice near sidewalk when walking from parking area to sidewalk. Medics transported him to the hospital for a knee injury.

Comments: A local resident reported their vehicle was damaged in a collision. Officers arrived on scene and discovered the damaged occurred in a hit and run. Officers investigated and took measurements of the damaged area. No information was available on the suspect vehicle so Officers were unable to locate it.

Comments: Officers responded to one of the local bars on a call for service of a female attempting to use a fake identification to enter the bar. Officers responded and found the female to be in possession of two fake identification cards. The female was arrested, cited and released without incident.

Comments: Man parked his vehicle in a parking lot and left the vehicle running. When he returned several minutes later the vehicle was gone.

Comments: While searching for a stolen vehicle officers located a suspicious vehicle. Officers saw a person (later identified as a juvenile) exposing his penis (later learned he was urinating). Officers tried to contact the juvenile but he ran from them and did not obey their commands to stop. Officers caught the juvenile and discovered he was intoxicated. Juvenile was taken into custody, cited and released to his parents.

Comments: Local business manager reported theft by an employee. Officers investigated and collected the managers statement. The manager provided security footage of the employee and sales logs showing the theft. The investigation is ongoing.

Comments: Local resident reported a collision hit and run. Officers arrived on scene and investigated. Officers took measurements of the damage and collected the witness statements. Officers were also able to locate security footage of the suspect vehicle. The investigation is ongoing.

Comments: Officers on foot patrol encountered some men in an alley smoking marijuana. One of the men claimed the marijuana and was cited for possession of a controlled substance.

Comments: Officers responded to a report of a suicidal subject who was threatening to cut his wrists with a knife. Family members were able to get the knife away from the subject before he could cut himself. The subject was located and transported to the hospital for treatment.

Comments: Employee parked car on far side of parking lot to avoid collision. Employee came out after work and discovered vehicle had been struck causing damage over $1,000. No suspect vehicle at this time.

Comments: A woman called to report her vehicle had been stolen. Officers found that the reporting person was pretending to be someone else and was falsely reporting a crime that hadn’t occurred. Officers have not yet found cause to cite the suspect.

Comments: Officers were at a local bar when a Juvenile tried to use fake identification. During the investigation it was found that the juvenile was also under the influence of alcohol. The juvenile received a citation for MIP.

Comments: An officer observed a vehicle slide throw an intersection and stop partially in the lane of travel. The officer made contact with the driver of the vehicle at a nearby gas station and recognized objective signs of impairment displayed by the driver. The driver submitted to Standardized Field Sobriety Tests, performed poorly and was arrested. During the search incident to arrest, officers located a small bag of psilocybin mushrooms, the man was charged with possession of controlled substances.

Comments: A complainant contacted the Police Department in reference to someone causing damage (keyed) their vehicle. The incident occurred between 2/17/19 at 6:00pm to 2/18/19 at 1:00pm.
