Comments: A male subject was upset at how he was treated while going through the security checkpoint at the airport. The subject felt he was patted down inappropriately, attempted to file a complaint with the airport, believed they were not handling it, and wanted to file criminal charges.

Comments: Driver stopped for 27 MPH in a 20 MPH School Zone. Driver found to have been cited (3) prior times for no Driver’s License. Driver found have no valid Driver’s License. Driver placed under arrest for no Driver’s License.

•TRAFFIC ACCIDENT – HIT/RUN, VEHICLE DAMG
Comments: Local company truck driver swerved to avoid colliding with vehicle when then struck another vehicle which was parked at a stop light. Driver of truck left the scene and turned out to be driving on a suspended license. No injuries were reported during the collision.

Comments: A n adult male and a juvenile male were both charged with shoplifting after stealing multiple items from local store. The total value was around $1,500 in stolen property. The adult was taken into custody and the juvenile was cited and released to his parents.

Comments: Victim reported their vehicle was damaged in what appeared to be an attempted break-in. There is no known suspect.

Comments: Officer observed a vehicle going the wrong way on a one-way street at E Deloney Ave and N Cache St. Driver admits to consuming alcoholic beverages during dinner. SFST’s conducted. Driver subsequently arrested for DUI.

Comments: While on foot patrol officer smelled the odor consistent with burning marijuana coming from a car. Officer contacted individual in the car who confessed to having a small amount of marijuana. The individual received a citation and was released.

Comments: Vehicle made an illegal left-hand turn. Driver did poorly on FST’s. Driver was arrested for DUI. Driver blew a .15% BAC for portable breath test

Comments: Vehicle was pulled over for speeding. Driver did poorly on FST’s. Driver was arrested for DUI. Driver gave a portable breath test with a result of .16% BAC.

Comments: Intoxicated females entered a property without the homeowner’s consent, stole a truck and drove around town. Females arrested for criminal entry, theft of a motor vehicle, DUI and possession of a controlled substance.

•ASSAULT – AGGRAVATED ASSAULT, FAMILY, STRONGARM
•CONTROLLED SUBSTANCE – HEROIN, SELL
Comments: A woman tried to call for help because her husband was being aggressive and the man took her cell phone. The man later attempted to strangle the woman by placing both his hands around her neck and hitting her head against a door. The man was found to be in possession of pills (not in a prescription container) and heroin. The man was arrested for these charges.

Comments: Reporting party contacted police to report a hit and run collision. Officers responded to the scene and located a vehicle that had minor damage resultant some sort of collision. There was no suspect vehicle information. As of this writing no arrests have been made and no leads are present.

Comments: An Officer was patrolling when he observed a male laying face down in the snow on a sidewalk. The male got himself up and continued to stagger down the sidewalk. Officer made contact with the male and determined he was under the influence of alcohol and unable to care for himself. The male was arrested for public intoxication. The male was evaluated at the hospital and booked into the Teton County Jail.

Comments: Man was reported to have left a local bar very intoxicated. Man was found a block away and showed signs of intoxication. Man could not provide an address and just planned on walking through the snow. Man was arrested for public intoxication.

Comments: While responding to a business alarm, officers located evidence of a criminal entry into another business. Officers tracked the prints in the snow to a residence and contacted the occupant. The occupant admitted he had entered the business without authorization. The suspect was cited and released.
