Comments: A traffic stop was conducted on a vehicle that failed to stop correctly at a stop sign. A K9 was summoned to the scene and the dog alerted on the vehicle. A probable cause search was conducted and small amount of marijuana was located in the vehicle. The driver was cited for PCS and released.

Comments: On 29 November 2018 at approx. 1338 hours I was dispatched to a hit and run collision near the intersection of West Broadway Ave. and N Glenwood St. The victim was Richard Lewis. According to Lewis he parked his vehicle and around 1325 hours a 28-30 ft. “Old school looking RV” hit his driver side mirror breaking it off. Lewis stated that he talked to some individuals that saw it happen and the vehicle looked to be from the 1980s. It was light gray and accented with blue trim. According to Lewis no one was able to get a license plate number or even what state the vehicle came from.
