JACKSON, Wyo. — The Jackson Police Department (JPD) has announced that missing person Braigene Collins has been found.
“The Jackson Police Department is pleased to announce that Ms. Collins has been located safe in another state,” JPD posted to Facebook on Friday, Nov. 1. “One of our detectives spoke with her on the phone and she is no longer considered a missing person. Thanks to everyone that positively contributed to this case.”
JPD noted that Collins’ exact location would not be released out of respect for her privacy.
On Oct. 14, JPD called upon the public to help locate Collins, who — at the time — had not been seen for a month. JPD told Buckrail that Collins had ties to other states in the Mountain West and on the east coast.
