JACKSON, Wyo. — The Town of Jackson seeks applicants for two open seats on the Planning Commission/Board of Adjustment to serve three-year volunteer terms beginning on August 1. The application period ends on Friday, July 4.
The Town invites professionals with backgrounds in planning, architecture, natural resource management, real estate or related industries to “help shape the Town of Jackson’s future.” According to the Town, the position provides an opportunity work with zoning regulations and policies, and engage with local officials. The Planning Commission/Board of Adjustment considers Land Development Regulations, zoning maps and development applications.
Members of the Planning Commission/Board of Adjustment must be residents of the Town of Jackson for a minimum of one year prior to appointment and can not hold any other public office or position in Town government.
