Pinedale’s Half Moon Lake Lodge Coming to Auction September 29

Pinedale’s cherished retreat center is up for auction.

Half Moon Lake Lodge will be offered at auction Saturday, September 29 in cooperation with Live Water Properties and Albert Burney. The auction is absolute and will sell regardless of price. This is an extraordinary opportunity for anyone looking to run their own business just an hour and a half from Jackson Hole and Grand Teton National Park.

“Half Moon Lake Lodge is a rare operation that has capabilities for about everything you could want – lodging, horseback riding, outfitting, wedding venue, corporate retreats and a beautiful restaurant & marina,” says Deirdre Griffith, Live Water Properties sales associate.

The lodge sits along the shore of Half Moon Lake, nine miles north of Pinedale. It is located on the Bridger Teton National Forest and commercial activities are currently authorized by Special Use Permits and include: boating, fishing, boat rentals, rental slips, hiking, horseback riding and lodging.

The lodge can accommodate up to 30 guests with six guest cabins that each offer their own character and charm. There is a restaurant, lakeshore patio, and the recently renovated “Half Moon Saloon.” Support facilities include a barn and corrals, shop/marina building, floating dock system and employee housing. Half Moon Lake Lodge is a true turnkey operation and the facilities are in immaculate condition with a complete inventory.

The auction will begin at 11 a.m. on September 29, with registration beginning at 10 a.m. Auction personnel will be available at Half Moon Lake Lodge from September 26 through auction day between 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Pre-showing tours are available by calling John Turner at (307)-699-3415.
