JACKSON HOLE, WYO – Probably you’ve heard of it. You or your company have maybe even considered participating. But you haven’t. Yet.
The 9th Annual Pica’s Margarita Cup is just around the corner and the time for excuses is over. Individuals or teams can enter the “Marg Cup.” It is a fun and social locals’ race league with a competitive spirit. Skiers and snowboarders of all abilities are welcome to race for the Cup.
The scoring has been designed to give even novice racers the ability to earn a high score and help their team win. Racers enjoy professional racecourses, weekly raffles, Pica’s margaritas and tacos, and just the right amount of friendly trash-talking.
Margarita Mondays are scheduled for Jan. 15, 29; Feb. 12, 26; and Mar. 5.
Buckrail provides the following Q&A for those uninitiated skiers.
- Can anyone race?
- YES, of course! 18+, any ability, any equipment. (Calling all snowboarders, tele skiers and snowlerbladers)

- Is it only racing?
- No way, Jose. Weekly Raffles. Free gear. Random prizes. Food, beer & margs from Pica’s. High fives and good times.
