ALTA, Wyo. — The community room at Alta Branch Library will host a globe-spanning photo exhibit from much awarded photographer Howie Garber Wednesday, January 8.
The presentation, entitled “Howie Garber: Photo Adventures on Four Continents” runs from 6:30–7:30 p.m. and showcases images as well as stories of inter-continental adventuring at destinations spanning the Americas and extending to Asia major.
A visual proponent of environmental causes, Howie Garber has won four awards from the BBC in their Wildlife Photographer of the Year Contest. His images have been exhibited in the Museum of Natural History in London, England as well as in the Smithsonian Museum. And his book-published work has received similarly high recognition.
Howie presents on Wednesday evening at Alta Branch Library as part of the Teton County Library program, Mountain Story 2020 which is an annual compendium of outstanding storytelling inspired by the great outdoors.
