Pet(s) of the Week: Meet Kiahna and Kiska

Who’s cooler than a polar bear’s toenails? Who’s got more soul than the infamous Blues Brothers? How about this pair of totally in sync Malamute sisters? Meet Kiahna and Kiska, a delightful duo of 5-year-old artic canines. These sisters have spent their whole lives in unison and would prefer to keep it that way. Kiska is the class clown of the two, while her sister Kiahna is more sensitive and reserved. Kiahna comes with some knee issues and is need of surgery to have them both replaced. The surgery will be covered by PAWS MedFund and the Town of Jackson Shelter and is scheduled for early May. Both sisters have their PAWS crossed hoping for a home to take them in before Kianah’s surgery so she can recover with her new family… preferably on the couch, with lots of Disney movies and popcorn. These gals will make perfect family pets and enjoy kids and other dogs. Call the Jackson/Teton County Animal Shelter for more info 307-733-2139.
