Pet of the Week: Meet Tigger

Often times dogs wind up in shelters and haven’t been socialized… What does that mean exactly? Could you imagine living your life in one room with no new people, new smells, new sounds, new animals? Once you came out of that room, the world would be pretty scary, don’t you think?

Tigger is that dog, but we are happy to report that after a couple of months at the Jackson/Teton County Animal Shelter this brindled social caterpillar is slowly transforming into a social butterfly.

Looking for a forever buddy who finds everything new? Head over to the J/TC Shelter located on Adams Canyon Road to get give Tigger some treats. Treats are his way of becoming comfortable with you… Or is it all just a ploy for more treats?

Only one way to find out! 307-733-2139
