JACKSON HOLE, WYO – The 2nd annual Jackson Hole Professional Bull Riders Touring Pro Division event is a go for July 15-16. The premiere bull riding event is a Touring Pro Division and part of the PBR Unleash the Beast Premier series which is one of the fastest growing spectator sports in the country, making stops at New York City’s Madison Square Garden and in Las Vegas.
Last year’s event was so successful, co-producer Outlaw Partners announced it will add a second night of bull riding this summer. Rarely do rodeo and rough stock fans get a chance to be this up close to see both the best in bull riders today and the animal athletes that make the sport so exciting.
The Jackson Hole PBR will include a vendor village featuring retail booths, food and drinks, comic relief by a PBR entertainer, mutton bustin’ for kids age 6 and under, bulls from PBR’s Stock Contractor of the Year, Chad Berger, and a live music after-party.
“We had an amazing response to the inaugural event in Jackson last year and we drew a great crowd. We’re excited to be bringing professional bull riding back to Jackson for two nights of exciting entertainment,” said Eric Ladd, CEO at Outlaw Partners.
Tickets go on sale later this spring and range from $50 for general admission to $250 for a VIP Golden Buckle ticket, which includes access to a hospitality tent with food and drinks and a chance to mingle with riders. Tickets will be available online only at jacksonholepbr.com.
The Jackson Hole PBR is honored to align with partners the Million Dollar Cowboy Bar and Wort Hotel in 2019, which will host ancillary events surrounding the PBR bull riding that are open to the public. On July 14, the Wort Hotel will host a cowboy meet and greet in the Silver Dollar Showroom with a handful of cowboys who will be competing in Jackson. On July 15 and 16, the Million Dollar Cowboy Bar will host the official PBR after-parties with live music after each night’s bull-riding events.
Bringing a charitable approach to the event and giving back to the community is the mission of the producers. With the growth to a two-night event in 2019, the Jackson Hole PBR is able to incorporate two nonprofit organizations that will benefit from Calcutta auctions held each night before the bull riding, with Jackson Hole Rotary Club and Foundation as the beneficiary on July 15 and Jackson Hole Historical Society and Museum on July 16.
“The Jackson Hole Historical Society and Museum is thrilled for the opportunity to collaborate again with Outlaw Partners and be a part of the 2019 Jackson Hole Professional Bull Riding event,” said Morgan Jaouen, Executive Director of Jackson Hole Historical Society and Museum. This is a fun, fast-paced event that keeps Western traditions alive while benefitting our contemporary community.”
