PAWS’ Tuxes and Tails campaign continues with Jackson Hole’s Original Poop Fairy: Skip Maeger

JACKSON, Wyo. — With just TWO days to go in their online Comedy Campaign, PAWS of Jackson Hole has offered laughter and levity in an otherwise challenging landscape. In a move that some locals are calling genius, PAWS hired local, actor, writer, and comedian Andrew Munz to create a series of pet-themed comedy vignettes that launch every Wednesday on social media, and through email to engage the public and inspire donations. Today’s installment features “Jackson Hole’s Original Poop Fairy: Skip Maeger,” featuring a man of many talents – Stephen Lottridge. There are rumors that PAWS will feature one last Andrew Munz vignette this Friday as PAWS officially closes out the Comedy Campaign.

To help meet their $200,000 campaign fundraising goal, PAWS secured a $100,000 Challenge Match prior to launching the Comedy Campaign on May 7. As the Campaign comes to an end this Friday, June 4 at 5:00PM, PAWS has secured a total of $182,275 of its $200,000 goal … thus leaving $17,725 to be raised in the next two days. PAWS is reaching out to the community and their supporters to help them successfully attain their fundraising goal … to support the needs of local pets and their people in Jackson, Star Valley and Teton Valley, ID.

PAWS of Jackson Hole is a non-profit organization, 100% funded by private donations and grants. Donations help meet the ever-increasing needs of local pets and their families through PAWS 8 pet service programs. In 2020, PAWS saw a dramatic increase in demand for their services, with more than 1,000 requests for assistance with spay/neuter and hundreds of requests for veterinary financial assistance. Thanks to the generosity of sponsors and donors they were able to meet everyone’s needs. This year the fundraising environment has changed as people return to their normal lives.

PAWS goal in 2021 is to ensure that pets receive the vital care they need and that pets are not relinquished to local animal shelters due to a short-term financial constraint due to lingering effects of COVID.

To support local pets and their people through PAWS Comedy Campaign,  make a donation, buy a raffle ticket for a week-long stay in a 4-bedroom Manhattan Beach home, or become a Comedy Campaign sponsor … and make sure you see Andrew Munz’s hilarious vignettes at pawsofjh.org.
