JACKSON HOLE, WYO – A public meeting has been set for Teton County/Jackson Parks and Recreation to discuss its Comprehensive Plan.
Parks and Rec would like public input as the department conducts its Comp Plan. Community members, business owners, sports groups, and any other interested parties are welcome to chime in.
The Comprehensive Plan will provide a preliminary evaluation of current leisure desires and demands, as well as expected growth, and their potential impacts on future community leisure services and a potential recreation/community center.
The county has hired a nationally-recognized parks and recreation management consulting firm to oversee the plan process. GreenPlay, LLC, whose home office is in Louisville, Colorado, has also performed work in Riverton, Guernsey, and Wheatland.
The meeting will take place on Tuesday, May 16, from 6:00-7:30 pm at the Board of County Commissioners Chambers in the Teton County Administrative Building.
Questions regarding the Comprehensive Plan can be directed to recreation program manager Andy Fleck at 307-732-8485.
