JACKSON, Wyo. — Even though it’s still the dog days of summer, a new school year is right around the corner.
Some working families in Jackson might need assistance with the financial burden of back-to-school shopping. One22 Resource Center has brought back its school supplies drive, running now through Aug. 22, to meet this need.
Those interested in donating can find metal dropoff bins at the Teton County Library, the Presbyterian Church and the One22 Resource Center at St. John’s Episcopal Church. There is also an online registry at Target, which will ship the items directly to One22.
“The school supply drive is a true collective community effort, where contributions of any size have an impact,” said One22 Executive Director Sharel Lund in a press release. “Whether you have the resources to donate one package of pencils or a stack of 30 backpacks, you are giving children a strong start to the school year.”
