JACKSON, WY— Renowned wildlife sculptor Tim Shinabarger has been working on his newest collection for 15 months.
The culmination of his hard work is a One Man Show “Forever Wild” at Legacy Gallery. The show opens with an artist reception September 14.
The highly anticipated show will feature nine new works, primarily of his beloved North American wildlife subjects but also of an African lion. A select few sold out editions will also be available by draw, including the sought-after piece Switch Back and Woodland Bull.
Shinabarger developed a love for wildlife at a young age, which led to his work as a guide, taxidermist and backcountry ranger. But it was as an artist that he found his true passion and love for wildlife. To gain inspiration for new pieces, Shinabarger takes trips into the backcountry of Alaska, the Rockies, and even Africa to observe wildlife in its truest nature. This type of dedication to his work has paid off—Shinabarger has earned numerous honors from organizations like the National Sculpture Society, Prix de West Invitational Show, and the National Museum of Wildlife Art in Jackson, Wyoming.
Shinabarger’s show will be on display at Legacy Gallery from September 14-23. Join him for an artist reception September 14 from 2-4 pm.
