If you’re looking for deep snow early in the season, look no further than Grand Targhee. Targhee currently has the deepest base depth in the Northern Rockies, and the number one snowpack in the country.

Tuesday night’s storm certainly helped. Targhee’s now looking at 93 inchesĀ of snow, and it keeps falling.

“We’re excited to start the season off with 100% of lift-served terrain open and the deepest snowpack in the West,” said Targhee Marketing & Advertising Specialist Kate Wiley. “We rely completely on Mother Nature to open the mountain, and have been fortunate to see 93 inches of snow to date. We’re looking forward to more powder days to come and the chance to experience more of the #Targhee Vibe.”

You can help make the snow fall! Head to the Snow God’s shrine on Blackfootā€”find some powder stashes along the way, thank them for their tidings, and pray for snow!
