JACKSON, Wyo. — Gamers, have you seen the trailer for PS4’s “The Last Of Us Part II” yet?
If you have, you may notice a familiar backdrop. According to Playstation’s website, the highly-anticipated new game set to release in February 2020 is set right here in Jackson.
“Five years after their dangerous journey across the post-pandemic United States, Ellie and Joel have settled down in Jackson, Wyoming,” a plot synopsis says. “Living amongst a thriving community of survivors has allowed them peace and stability, despite the constant threat of the infected and other, more desperate survivors.”
The scene looks… something like Jackson, though Playstation has taken some creative liberties. At the very least, it looks like a mountain town that could be Jackson.
Those who have played the original “Last of Us” know that the game ended in Jackson. Makes sense, then, for the game’s protagonists to settle here.
