GRAND TETON NATIONAL PARK — This Thursday, Sept. 17, is Constitution Day, which means fees will be waived for entry into all national parks for the entire day. The day marks 239 years since the signing of the United States Constitution in 1787.

While it’s not a bank holiday, U.S. citizens who want to recreate in any U.S. national park can do so without paying fees for entry.

The U.S. Department of Interior made some changes to fee-free days this year, including removing Juneteenth and adding Flag Day to the list.

Other fee-free days coming up include:

  • Oct. 27: Theodore Roosevelt’s birthday
  • Nov. 11: Veterans Day
