JACKSON HOLE, WYO – The full length of Moose-Wilson Road in Grand Teton National Park is now open to all users, including motor vehicles and cyclists. Road drainage improvements on the northern section of road—initially scheduled to last through Sunday, May 13—have been completed.
During the closure, a contractor replaced drainage culverts to prevent future flooding on the road in the area south of Sawmill Ponds. This section of road experienced significant groundwater flooding for much of last summer, and was limited to one-lane of alternating traffic for a few weeks. Crews also installed roadside barriers to minimize future damage to roadside vegetation.
