JACKSON, Wyo. — The Jackson Hole Moose get back on ice this weekend as they host the Holy Cross Crusaders. It’s the first time in Jackson for the alumni team of the NCAA Division 1 Holy Cross collegiate team. All players have played for the Crusaders at one time or another.
“It should be a good team. We’ve got guys flying in from all over the world—Toronto, San Fran, St. Louis, Chicago, Texas,” said Moose coach Howie Carruth. They are going to be tenacious. Very similar to that New York team.”
The Moose are able to counter with two players of their own who played Div. 1 hockey—Brian Upesleja and Drew Akins. By the way, Akins will be dressed and in the lineup tonight after missing several games to injury.
The Moose (13-5) are riding a 3-game win streak after a weekend off last week.
