JACKSON, Wyo. — A dog has been reported missing since the afternoon of Tuesday, June 24, and has yet to be found, according to its owner.

The dog’s owner Mary Brandon Barden told Buckrail that Sammy was last seen near her house on Balsam Lane in Melody around 2:30 p.m. on Tuesday. The male dog was wearing a collar with a tracking device which indicated that the dog left the Balsam Lane area around that time.

The tracking device then indicated Sammy or the collar was near T.J. Maxx at 2:47 p.m. and did not change locations again. Barden searched the parking lot at T.J. Maxx and spoke with an employee there. Neither the dog nor the collar was found.

Sammy is a 15-year-old mix, described as a “chiweenie.” According to Barden, he is very friendly and loves treats.

If anyone sees Sammy, call Barden at (307) 690-9188.
