JACKSON, Wyo. — The Cowboy Bar announced today that its second annual Million Dollar Music Fest will be rescheduled for fall 2020.
A new date will be announced soon. The decision was made in accordance with CDC guidelines, state direction, and guidance from the Town of Jackson, the Cowboy said in a press release.
Jim Waldrop, president of Silver Dollar, Inc., the parent company of title sponsor, The Cowboy Bar said, “In cooperation with our musical partners, Midland, the town of Jackson, and all of our sponsors, we’re excited to announce that this year’s event will move to early Fall. We are working to finalize all details, and will announce dates very soon. Just like Jackson Hole, the state and the entire country, The Million Dollar Music Fest will be back bigger and better than ever. We look forward to the time when we’ll again gather on the Town Square for good times and great music.”
The goal of The Million Dollar Music Fest has been to celebrate the west while serving as a kick-off to the summer tourism season for Jackson Hole, Wyoming and the entire region. In the inaugural year, in 2019, nearly 5,000 fans from more than a dozen states, from as far away as Virginia, Maryland, Alabama, Louisiana and Texas attended the concert headlined by country super-group, Midland.
All VIP tickets already sold will be honored for the new date. For any ticketholders unable to attend, information on refunds will be made available soon.
