JACKSON, Wyo. — The “Mental Health in the Wild” series organized by the Teton County Health Department (TCHD) will host its final session of the summer on Tuesday, Sept. 22, from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. The event will be free and open to the public at the Black Diamond Store at 160 West Pearl Ave.

This session’s subject, dubbed “The Art of Pause,” centers around slowing down and taking rest in a town and mountain culture known for adventures and long mountain days.

“In a valley built around early starts, big objectives, and full seasons, slowing down can feel like falling behind,” a press release from TCHD reads. “This panel explores the necessity of rest, the real challenges of recovery, and what it takes to pause in a culture that rewards constant movement.”

Panelists include Ryan Burke, Matt Shlim, Jeff Roelke and Dagny Deutchman. Those interested in attending are encouraged to register here.
