JACKSON, Wyo. — Mayor Hailey Morton Levinson will be giving the 4th Annual State of the Town Address on Wednesday, Feb. 14 at 12 p.m.
Morton Levinson was sworn in as Mayor in 2021 and previously served two terms as a town councilor.
The Mayor will be talking to the community in-person. Residents will have the opportunity to learn about initiatives and actions that the Town will be giving precedence to in the year ahead.
“The ‘State of the Town’ is a great opportunity for me to reflect on the honor it is to be Mayor of my hometown,” Mayor Morton Levinson told Buckrail. “I look forward to sharing all the Town accomplished in the last year and highlighting what Town Council has prioritized in 2024.”
During the 2023 town address, Morton Levinson stressed the importance of childhood education, engaging the Spanish-speaking community, expanding daycare slots for families, as well as climate action initiatives like the START On Demand buses and the need for affordable housing. Last year, the continuation of the Jackson/Teton County Housing Preservation Program, which assists with down payments for community members and the area’s workforce, was a main concern.
This year, Morton Levinson will recap the past year and share updates on critical issues.
The address will take place in Town Hall’s Council Chambers, and it can also be watched online here.
