JACKSON, Wyo. — The Silver Dollar Showroom Sessions at The Wort Hotel, which celebrate songs and the stories behind them, will feature Mac McAnally and Scotty Emerick, on Thursday, Jan. 4, as they host Margaritas & Memories: From the Tetons to the Tropics.
Both performers will take the Silver Dollar Showroom stage, joined by long-time Coral Reefer percussionist, Eric Darken to celebrate the song lines of life by recreating the beloved music they have performed all over the world—from the Tetons to the Tropics—as well as sharing their stories of friendship and adventure.
Mac McAnally is a ten-time Country Music Association’s Musician of the Year, and a hit writer for ALABAMA and Kenny Chesney. For nearly 30 years, he wrote, toured and performed with Jimmy Buffett as a member of The Coral Reefer Band. Scotty Emerick is a singer/songwriter of many number one hits, who has written songs and toured with artists as varied as Toby Keith, Willie Nelson, Merle Haggard and Jimmy Buffett.
Fresh from the CMA Awards’ nationally televised tribute to Buffett, which also included Kenny Chesney, Alan Jackson and Zac Brown, McAnally, who wrote dozens of songs recorded by Buffett through the years, co-produced his ultimate project released in November. That album featured Buffett’s Calypso cover of the Emerick-penned “Love Me Like My Dog.” Late in 2022, McAnally and Emerick enjoyed the once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to lead an 11-day musical expedition to Antarctica, a trip aimed at Parrotheads designed to raise money and awareness for ocean conservation.

The Silver Dollar Showroom Sessions offer a three-course dinner and world-class entertainment in an intimate venue. In the spirit of the music, for this particular Session, cheeseburgers (in this mountain paradise) will be on the menu. Doors open for a margarita reception at 6 p.m., (“five o’clock somewhere”), followed by dinner and the performance. Tickets, $195 each and sold by the table, are very limited and go on-sale at 10 a.m. on, Friday, Dec 15 at www.worthotel.com. Attire will be leis, fins and flowered shirts.
Previous Showroom Sessions have featured such luminaries as Steve Wariner, Del McCoury Band, Tommy Emmanuel and Doc Powell. Both McAnally and Emerick have previously performed solo Showroom Sessions.
