The recent Nashville Songwriters Hall of Fall inductee has been the primary writer for Larry Gatlin and the Gatlin Brothers (now Larry, Steve and Rudy) for decades. He\u2019ll perform a rare and intimate solo show at the Silver Dollar Bar's \u201cShowroom Session.\u201d\r\n\r\nGatlin was on a football scholarship at the University of Houston when he developed \u201ca love affair with the English Language,\u201d in particular, John Steinbeck. His songwriting talents became known through the industry and led to over a dozen Grammy nominations in his career. In 1979, The Gatlin Brothers won \u201cSingle of the Year\u201d and \u201cAlbum of the Year,\u201d and Larry was named \u201cMale Vocalist of the Year\u201d from the Academy of Country Music.
