JACKSON, Wyo. — The Animal Adoption Center is looking for a recently rescued 1-year old terrier mix, Geranium aka Gerry. If spotted, The Animal Adoption Center is asking community members not to approach him, he is very scared.

Gerry went missing yesterday, May 25 near South Park. He was last seen at 8:45 p.m. running through the grassy areas from South Park towards the Rafter J neighborhood. Gerry is wearing a blue vest.

Staff at the Animal Adoption Center believe that Gerry may be hiding underneath something, like a shed, a porch or anything that a six-pound dog might fit under. He is very scared and disoriented.

The Adoption Center staff is urging community members who live south of town to use a flashlight and check around their properties for Gerry.

Call the emergency line (307-690-8642) if Gerry is spotted. He is very skittish and will run off if approached. The Adoption Center has multiple live traps they will set if his location can be pinpointed. “Our best chance at getting him home safely is by a live trap,” said Carrie Boynton, Executive Director.

Gerry was recently rescued from a shelter in Laredo, Texas through the Dog is My Copilot program.

Call 307-690-8642 (emergency line) or 307-739-188 (Adoption Center Office) with any sightings or info.
