JACKSON, Wyo. — Whether you’re looking to give back this holiday season or in need of assistance in finding a warm holiday meal, the celebration of thanks and giving can be found throughout the Jackson Hole valley.

Make at Home Meal Kits at One22 Resource Center

Any community member seeking Thanksgiving dinner fixings is invited to One22 Resource Center’s Jackson Cupboard this week for make-at-home meal kits with all the trimmings.

Traditional Thanksgiving meal offerings are available starting today. The Jackson Cupboard, a program of One22 Resource Center, is stocked with healthy and abundant food, and its staff and volunteers are ready to distribute many beloved Thanksgiving foods.

Special holiday food items, like sweet potatoes, green beans, stuffing and pumpkin pie will all be available under “Holiday Specials” when selecting food items on the Jackson Cupboard website.  A donation from Albertsons Companies Foundation will allow the Jackson Cupboard to also offer $50 vouchers from their Nourishing Neighbors program for additional holiday meal spending. There is a limit of one per household. All holiday food items and vouchers can be ordered online at this link. The Jackson Cupboard, located at 155 West Gill Avenue.

As a reminder to the community, there is no referral or paperwork at the Jackson Cupboard.

The Cupboard will be open Nov. 21-23 and closed Nov. 24-25. They will reopen on Saturday Nov. 26. More information can be found here about available food resources for Thanksgiving across the whole community.

Wyoming Hunger Initiative

First Lady Jennie Gordon’s Wyoming Hunger Initiative will also help provide Thanksgiving meals across the state.

“Thanksgiving is right around the corner and anti-hunger organizations statewide are stepping up to meet the increased need,” said Gordon. “…for just $5, you can provide a pie for a Wyoming family who needs it most. Thank you for joining the fight.”

She's a lover of alliteration, easy-to-follow recipes and board games when everyone knows the rules. Her favorite aspect about living in the Tetons is the collective admiration that Wyomingites share for the land and the life that it sustains.
