Celebrate with us this weekend!
This Sunday, we’re honoring Pastor Mike Atkins’ 24-year tenure serving this community and celebrating as River Crossing Church becomes Gateway Church. We’ll pray over Pastor Mike and his family, honor his legacy, and then welcome Gateway Church to Jackson Hole. Everyone is invited to this special celebration service!

Mike Atkins is a gifted teacher of the Word of God. His inspiring style of communication has led him to proclaim the Good News of Jesus Christ all over the world. Having served in pastoral ministry for nearly 30 years, most of which have been at River Crossing Church in Jackson, Mike has a balance of evangelistic passion, a worshipper’s heart, and revelation teaching. Mike and his wife, Patty, have three daughters, a son-in-law, and a grandson. Mike’s teaching and humble presence will be greatly missed each weekend!
River Crossing Church is a long-standing and diverse congregation of Christ-followers based in Jackson. For many years, River Crossing Church has focused on studying God’s Word, worshipping God wholeheartedly, and reaching a unique population of global travelers passing through Jackson Hole. This spring, River Crossing Church was adopted by Gateway Church, a Dallas/Fort Worth–based, multicampus church.
Gateway Church is a Bible-based, evangelistic, Spirit-empowered church founded in 2000 by Pastor Robert Morris. Today we meet as one church in many locations with more than 30,000 people attending each weekend. At Gateway, we’re all about people. We’re all about people because God is all about people. One of the ways we express our love for Him is through our love for people, and we do that by helping each person who comes to Gateway grow in their relationship with the Lord.
