JACKSON, Wyo. — Mycology pro Zach Hedstrom will give a talk at the Teton County Library on Thursday night, focusing on ways fungi can factor into ecosystem health and resilience.
Hedstrom is the founder of Boulder Mushroom, which, according to the library’s announcement, conducts research and contracting services utilizing fungi in various environmental service applications such as fire mitigation, bulk biomass processing, agricultural soil health, and more.
The talk will cover the importance of fungi to ecosystem health and resilience plus an overview of Boulder Mushroom’s work. If time permits, Hedstrom will screen short documentary Peaks to Prairie: A Holistic Regenerative Approach.
The event will be held in the auditorium at 6 p.m.
