JACKSON, Wyo. — The Teton County Health Department launched a winter program to support community members that struggle with Seasonal Affective Disorder. The “Beat the Winter Blues” Program is a community-wide bingo game geared to highlight various tools and resources on the web platform CredibleMind, suggestions for self-care habits and free community events. This is the last week to turn in Bingo boards to be entered in a raffle prize. Complete a winter blues bingo card and return it to one of the participating locations below by Friday, Dec. 13 for a chance to win. Prizes include light therapy lamps, movie tickets, Astoria hot springs tickets and more!
Bingo cards can be found at the following locations and are available online for at-home printing.

To participate, community members need to cover five squares in any vertical, horizontal or diagonal row to make “BINGO.” Once an activity in a square is completed, cross that square off. Return completed cards to any of drop-off boxes with the participant’s name and phone/email. Seasonal Affective Disorder is a set of depressive symptoms such as low energy, sadness, changes in appetite, etc. Seasonal Affective Disorder is when these depressive symptoms are tied to seasonal changes such as during the darker, colder months of the year.
