JACKSON, Wyo. — That’s a wrap, folks!

The seasonal dog park at the Teton County Fairgrounds will close for the winter season on Tuesday, making today the final day for public access.

“The closure coincides with the end of winter wildlife trail restrictions in Teton County, which are lifted on May 1, and allows crews to prepare the Fairgrounds for the annual elk shed hunt,” the County’s announcement states.

Remember that dogs are not allowed in local parks, and must be leashed on the pathway system. Pets must remain under leash or verbal control within town limits, per Town Ordinance 7.05.

This seasonal milestone serves as the precursor to another: Seasonal restrooms in Town and County parks will reopen on Friday, May 1.
