JACKSON HOLE, WYO – Jackson Hole’s Adult Alternative radio station KMTN (96.9FM) ‘The Mountain’ was recently awarded the Station of the Year award for Markets 50+ at the recent FMQB AAA Conference in Boulder Colo.

Fish accepts Station of the Year award on behalf of KMTN at FMQB shindig.

FMQB is a radio and record industry source for industry news and updates, Nielsen ratings, music news and artist information. AAA format is Adult Album Alternative and is comprised of over 100 reporting stations around the country.

Markets 50+ includes cities like Oklahoma City (50); Mobile, AL (101); Bend, OR (200); and Billings, MT (238). Nominations and voting are tallied from industry colleagues in both the radio and record sides of the format.

“I’m honored that my colleagues in the radio and record industries have recognized KMTN as Station of the Year,” said Mark “Fish” Fishman, KMTN program director and morning personality. “It’s our goal to provide Jackson Hole with great music, insightful interviews, and social commentary—all while serving our community each day.  We couldn’t be more proud.”

KMTN has been programmed by Fishman since 1996. Fish also won the Program Director of the Year award from FMQB in 2016 and 2017.
