YELLOWSTONE NATIONAL PARK — On Wednesday, July 9, Yellowstone National Park (YNP) shared visitation statistics from the month of June, indicating a small bump compared to June 2024.
YNP hosted 928,250 recreation visits in June, up just 1% from June of last year, which saw 914,612 visits. The park saw a 1% decrease from June 2021 (938,845 visits), which was part of the busiest year at YNP. During that record-breaking year, over 4.8 million people visited the park.
So far this year, YNP has hosted 1,690,922 recreation visits, which is up 4% from last year (1,633,739 visits). The park is still on pace to see more visitors than the record-breaking year of 2021. So far in 2025, visitation is up 6% from 2021, which saw 1,587,998 visits.
