JACKSON, Wyo. — The Jackson Hole Ski & Snowboard Club announced Friday that Collin Rehm will become the Club’s new Freeride Program Director. Rehm replaces Andy Lex, who is stepping down after three years as director.

“I am happy the JHSC chose to hire within and I’m confident Collin will work tirelessly to support the growth and development that the Freeride Program deserves,” Lex said.

Originally from suburban Detroit, Rehm graduated from Northern Michigan University with a bachelor’s degree in Finance. During the summers in college, he worked at the Windells Camp on the Palmer Snowfield on Mount Hood and following graduation, Rehm moved to Jackson. He has coached for the Freeride Program for five seasons.

“I believe in the power of community to build success on and off the hill,” Rehm said. “Quality coaching staff, program partners and program facilities will continue the JHSC Free Ride Program’s trajectory of growth, competition success, and most importantly, kids who build a lifelong love of skiing and riding.”

JHSC athletes competed in a number of events this past winter including slopestyle and rail jams, the 10th annual junior freeride competition in Jackson Hole Mountain Resort’s Toilet Bowl and a big weekend at Sun Valley full of boardercross, ski cross and slopestyle events.
