JACKSON, Wyo. — Jackson Hole Mountain Resort (JHMR) is rolling out the red carpet for a special re-opening of the newly-remodeled Resort Store, and has invited some very special guests to the event:

Two ski patrollers and two or three patrol dogs will be on-site to celebrate the Resort Store re-opening Saturday, December 7. The dogs will be there from 5:30–6:30 p.m., but the party goes on until 7 p.m.

Originally opened in 1996, the Jackson Hole Resort Store is the only place in town you can buy official JHMR-logo gear. The store will offer 10% off everything in the store Saturday (15% for Grand Pass holders). Plus, 20% of all proceeds from JHMR avalanche dog products — avy dog t-shirts, baseball hats, stuffed avy dogs, ornaments, etc. — will be donated to Jackson Hole Ski Patrol.

Celebrate the story and meet JHMR’s canine heroes Saturday, December 7 from 5:30–7 p.m. Hot cocoa and light snacks will be provided.
