JACKSON, Wyo. — The Jackson Hole Land Trust (JHLT) has announced a free concert at the Greenspace on the Block on July 25.
Utah-based band Pixie and the Partygrass Boys will perform al fresco alongside food trucks by Provisions and StreetFood, sloshies from JH Still Works and beer from Roadhouse and Melvin.
Grand Teton Music Festival performers will open the show with an interactive musical act for children. The festivities are sponsored by Bank of Jackson Hole and Kate’s Real Food.
“We’re thrilled to bring a free community concert back to the Greenspace on the Block this year,” JHLT Community Conservation Operations Manager Zach Andres said in a press release.
In August 2019, JHLT placed a conservation easement on the block after a community wide effort to save it from a proposed three-story, 90,000 square-foot hotel or any other future development. This restricted any further development on the buildings that house Persephone, Café Genevieve and Healthy Being Juicery.
This easement also protects the space between the buildings, which is now known as the Greenspace on the Block — owned and managed by the JHLT for the Jackson community.
