JACKSON, Wyo. – It’s a short season for the Jackson golf team and they’re making the most of it. Both the girls and boys teams had strong showings in Riverton last week.

At the Riverton Match Play Invitational, Jackson’s Jacqueline Neishabouri had winning rounds over Darby Barstad and Megan Griffin before losing to Natrona’s Sophie Spiva.

Oliver Orchard won his bracket for the boys at the same invite with four wins. Mason Evans racked up three winning rounds enroute to runner-up in his bracket. Ridge Kling shot two winning rounds while Zach Wiley and Owen Newton had opening round wins for the boys.

Hosting its own invitational, Jacqueline Neishabouri fired an 86-91-177 for two rounds. It was one stroke better than teammate Sara White who took second. Ridge Kling paced the boys at home with an 84-99-183, 10 shots back of the winner Braxton Lind (Evanston).
