JACKSON, Wyo. — Jackson Hole High School is getting three new turf fields. FieldTurf USA has been working to replace two practice fields and the stadium field since June 1.

The 1.4 million dollar project is on schedule. One practice field is complete, the second should be done next week and the stadium is slated to be completed by July 27.

“The new turf has sand and rubber, so it’s heavier and plays more like natural grass,” Lisa Rosauer, FieldTurf USA regional construction manager said.

FieldTurf USA also used a broker to find a new home for the old turf being replaced, explained Rosauer.

The fields are expected to last 10-12 years depending on the amount of play on the fields. A third-party warranty will cover the fields for eight years.
