JH Rotary Lunch Club announces December Citizens of the Month

JACKSON, Wyo. — The Jackson Hole Rotary Lunch Club Tuesday honored two locals as Citizens of the Month. Andi Caruso and Sara Beth Judson were recognized for their hard work, dedication, and going the extra mile.

The JH Rotary Lunch Club Board nominated both for their dedication and outstanding work on this year’s Casino Night, which raised a record-breaking $280,000 for local scholarships.

“Andi Caruso and Sara Beth Judson are examples of community members who year after year have stepped up, worked hard and delivered an exceptional fundraising event for our club,” said Rotary Club President John Goettler. “Their dedication along with Jim Waldrop, Bill Baxter, and everyone at The Wort is a great example of this community coming together to raise money for a worthy cause and supporting our children here in Teton County.”

Caruso has worked at The Wort for 12 years and serves as Executive Assistant to Jim Waldrop, special projects coordinator and staff sommelier. She and her husband Tom, are raising two young sons who are very active in hockey and soccer. Caruso’s efforts are credited as instrumental in helping to make Casino Night a seamless event where all components are executed flawlessly.

Judson has been the marketing manager at The Wort for three years, and also currently does marketing for the Million Dollar Cowboy Bar as well. Her designs and marketing strategies were deemed essential to messaging and promoting Casino Night.

More about Casino Night

Casino Night, now in its 4th year, brings the community together for a night of “fun money” gambling, good food and drink, and to raise money for local students. JH Rotary Lunch Club scholarships, through the JH Rotary Foundation, are the product of year-round work from the Board, Foundation, club members, and people like December’s Citizens of the Month, who are passionate about supporting students in their next chapter of higher education.
