TETON VALLEY, Idaho — Olympic silver medalist Jaelin Kauf will be feted at two local events this weekend following her stellar performance at the Milan Cortina winter games.
On Saturday, April 18, Grand Targhee Resort will host Kauf at the Trap Bar deck for a meet and greet and poster signing from noon to 4 p.m. alongside live music. Then, on Monday, April 20, a parade in Kauf’s honor will start at Driggs Elementary School at 2:45 p.m. and travel past the other schools in the district. That parade had originally been scheduled for April 16 but had to be postponed.
“We can’t wait to celebrate Jaelin, a Teton Valley native who is the most decorated mogul skier in U.S. Olympic history!” the Downtown Driggs Association (DDA) posted to social media.
DDA invites the Teton Valley community to gather and display their “J” signs along Little Ave./Ski Hill Road between Second and Main. The parade will culminate with a poster signing and meet and greet at Driggs Plaza around 3:20 p.m.
