JACKSON, Wyo. — Teton County Search and Rescue was called out yesterday afternoon to assist with an injured horseback rider in the Pacific Creek area.
An unidentified woman fell from her horse around 12:23 p.m. on Sunday. It was very near the site a man was injured earlier in a similar accident.
TCSAR responded with two ground teams and the wheeled litter, as the woman was unable to ride or walk on her own. The teams reached the injured woman just before 2 p.m. They assessed her condition, packaged her up, and placed her in the wheeled litter for transport to a waiting ambulance.
With 14 team members, the operation took five hours and 37 minutes.
