Best Venues for Small Groups
Johnny Counts Cabin
Indoor
Perfect for: intimate weddings, conferences, workshops, retreats, private catered dinner parties
Built in the early 2000’s and recently updated, this cozy riverside cabin features a flexible floorplan, riverside views and patio, a wood burning fireplace, timber beams, and stunning antler chandeliers.
The River Pool
Outdoor; In the Water
Perfect for: Relaxing group soak/swim, private group gatherings
Our most private pool, situated nearest to the Snake River, the River Pool is large enough to accommodate 20 soakers, and is connected to a nearby riverside patio with seating where guests can stay dry, enjoy the view while soaking up the sun. Since this patio is 10 feet from the pool, food and snacks can be set up here.
Poolside Picnic Pavillion & Playground

Perfect for: family gatherings, birthday parties, group soaking/swimming events
Share the pools with the public, but have our shaded picnic pavilion tables and adjacent playground reserved for your groups’ use during your stay. The perfect venue to host a gathering with plenty of room to set up food, relax in the shade, and play while you aren’t swimming.

Riverside Event Lawn

Situated adjacent to the hot springs with a direct view of the Snake River Canyon, the Riverside Event Lawn is a great open space that can accommodate tents up to 60 x 50 feet.

Reserve all five soaking pools at Astoria Hot Springs for a complete private soaking event. Includes the entire hot springs area, picnic pavilion, playground and riverside patio.
Park Event Lawn

Perfect for: weddings,corporate retreats, or large events
Looking for more privacy? Gather in an open field surrounded by cottonwoods and pine trees. The Park Event Lawn has a large, flat space for an event tent and offers a more secluded and private setting that overlooks Astoria’s future park.
