BONNEVILLE COUNTY, Idaho — The Bonneville County Sheriff’s Office (BCSO) has released the booking photo for Jeremy Albert Best, who was arrested on Saturday in connection with the deaths of Kali Jean Randall and Zeke Best.
Representatives for both BCSO and the Teton County Sheriff’s Office (TCSO) told Buckrail that the victims’ causes of death are still being investigated.
“That’s all still in progress,” BCSO’s rep said.
“We’re playing the waiting game ourselves,” TCSO’s rep said.
Best was located on Saturday, Dec. 2, in a sleeping bag on the side of the road near Dan Creek Road, east of Idaho Falls. He was transported to the Bonneville County Jail and booked, where he will remain incarcerated until his arraignment.
Authorities pursued Best following the death of his wife, Randall, and abduction of his son, Zeke, a saga that began on Thursday, Nov. 30.
This is a developing story and will be updated when more information becomes available.
